A well-liked wrestling star has opened up a few moment when tensions with AEW\u2019s Thunder Rosa nearly spilled over right into a legitimate confrontation during their rivalry.<\/p>\n

Deonna Purrazzo, who previously competed in WWE against stars similar to Bianca Belair, Aaliyah, and Nia Jax, found even greater success after leaving the corporate and joining TNA. \u201cThe Virtuosa\u201d became a two-time Knockouts Champion, launched into a memorable \u201cbelt collector\u201d<\/em><\/strong> run, and eventually signed with All Elite Wrestling, where she now appears for each AEW and ROH.<\/p>\n

Speaking on a recent edition of the \u201cBoots to Boots\u201d podcast, Purrazzo reflected on her feud with former AEW Women\u2019s Champion Thunder Rosa and revealed that Rosa repeatedly pushed for his or her rivalry to culminate in a casket match. Nevertheless, Purrazzo made it clear that the concept was a non-starter as a result of her severe claustrophobia and anxiety. She said,<\/p>\n

\u201cThunder Rosa wanted our last match within the feud to be a casket match. And she or he had asked me, like, \u2018Can I pitch doing a casket match?\u2019 And I used to be like, \u2018Absolutely not. I\u2019m claustrophobic. I actually have such bad anxiety and panic, and my worst fear in life is death.\u2019 Absolutely not, no.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThunder asked me, like, 3 times, and I finally checked out her, and I used to be like, \u2018For those who pitch that behind my back, I’ll legit fu**ing fight you.\u2019 The reply is not any, and we can have an actual fu**ing problem. If I show as much as TV and it\u2019s advertised that I\u2019m in a casket match.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
