The Hollywood film Supergirl<\/em> will release tomorrow, June 26, and in this text, Bollywood Hungama<\/strong> will deal with the cuts given to the film.<\/p>\n

CBFC mutes \u2018wh**e\u2019, \u2018b***h\u2019, \u2018balls\u2019 in Supergirl; deletes middle finger visual<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the film with a U\/A 16+ certificate. Nevertheless, the film needed to undergo several audio modifications. The word \u2018screwed\u2019 was asked to be deleted. Similarly, \u2018b***h\u2019 and \u2018balls\u2019 were also asked to be deleted.<\/p>\n

One other word which was similarly censored was \u2018wh**e\u2019. Interestingly, half-hour footage of Supergirl<\/em> was screened exclusively for select fans on June 20 in Mumbai. Bollywood Hungama <\/strong>was a component of that screening and one in all the scenes shown had a dialogue with the word \u2018wh**e\u2019. It’s uttered by the lead protagonists in a comical context.<\/p>\n

Lastly, the center finger visual was also asked to be deleted. Once these changes were made, Supergirl<\/em> was passed on June 23. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 109.58 minutes. In other words, Supergirl is 1 hour, 49 minutes and 58 seconds long.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Bollywood Hungama<\/strong> reported yesterday that Supergirl<\/em> initially struggled to get shows as a result of wide showcasing given by multiplexes to this week\u2019s big Hindi film, Welcome To The Jungle<\/em>. Almost 24 hours later, the scenario is now higher. But as per trade sources, Warner Bros\u2019 struggle still continues for getting the specified showcasing.<\/p>\n
