Paddy Pimblett believes there are two big the reason why Arman Tsarukyan shouldn\u2019t get the subsequent lightweight title shot. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Armenian fan favorite is the 155lb division\u2019s long-time primary contender, who appears to be in line for a fight with lightweight champion Justin Gaethje<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Paddy Pimblett eviscerates Arman Tsarukyan<\/h2>\n

Arman Tsarukyan has fought only once previously 803 days, beating Dan Hooker by submission at UFC Qatar in November 2025. <\/p>\n

Paddy Pimblett doesn\u2019t consider a win over Dan Hooker should precede someone getting a title shot.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Baddy\u2019 also thinks Tsarukyan must be punished for ducking a rematch with the last man to beat him, Mateusz Gamrot.<\/p>\n

\u201cArman Tsarukyan is a fancy boy, helmet,\u201d Pimblett said during a recent interview with UFC legend Demetrious Johnson. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not an enormous fan of his in any respect. I believe he\u2019s a f\u2014ing idiot.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t even think he deserves the subsequent title shot, lad. He\u2019s beaten Dan Hooker previously three years.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s an awesome athlete. He couldn\u2019t beat Gamrot. Last 12 months, he got offered that rematch and said no. Imagine getting offered a rematch against someone who\u2019s beat you, and also you said no. Now that may be a b\u2014. \u00a0That could be a b\u2014- right there.<\/p>\n

\u201cArman would have been closer to a title shot, beating Gamrot than beating Dan Hooker. Dan Hooker\u2019s a bum, lad. Dan Hooker\u2019s a correct bum. Dan Hooker can\u2019t fight to avoid wasting his life, lad.<\/p>\n

\u201cMichael Chandler knocked him out, and Michael Chandler\u2019s not in the highest 15 anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

When is Paddy Pimblett\u2019s next fight<\/h2>\n

Paddy Pimblett has fought since suffering his first UFC loss against Justin Gaethje in January.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old put up an excellent fight and showed tons of heart, but he ultimately fell to a unanimous decision defeat at UFC 324. <\/p>\n

Pimblett will try to get back on target against Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 329 on July 11. <\/p>\n

Their three-round lightweight contest will co-headline a card topped by Conor McGregor\u2018s comeback.<\/p>\n

\u2018Notorious\u2019 will face Max Holloway in a rematch of their 2013 featherweight fight 13 years later. <\/p>\n
