Tiffany Stratton is catching heat from some fans after a recent trading card challenge where she failed to acknowledge several WWE legends.<\/p>\n

The reigning WWE Women\u2019s United States Champion recently took part in a video opening Topps WWE trading card packs ranging in value from $5 to $800 while answering quite a lot of questions. Throughout the challenge, Stratton reflected on topics akin to the last time she opened trading cards, the primary time she signed an autograph, and what advice she would give her younger self.<\/p>\n

While opening a 2016 Topps pack, Stratton got here across cards featuring Junkyard Dog, Sgt. Slaughter, Viscera, Ricky \u201cThe Dragon\u201d Steamboat, and Asuka. She immediately recognized Steamboat and Asuka but admitted that she didn\u2019t know Junkyard Dog, Sgt. Slaughter, or Viscera. She also mistakenly read Sgt. Slaughter\u2019s name as \u201cS-G-T Slaughter.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The remaining of the challenge went much smoother. Stratton accurately identified most of the more modern stars featured in later packs and even named The Rock because the owner of the most respected WWE trading card ever sold. While she guessed the cardboard was value $26,000, the actual sale price was roughly $126,000.<\/p>\n

After clips from the video circulated online, some fans criticized Stratton for not recognizing several iconic names from WWE history, especially after spending nearly five years with the corporate.<\/p>\n

One fan wrote, \u201cEveryone working there should learn concerning the history of the product.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

One other added, \u201cI generally don\u2019t care if wrestlers haven\u2019t heard of older wrestlers, but this isn\u2019t great. They need to have like history lessons on the PC.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Others, nonetheless, defended Stratton, declaring that she wasn\u2019t a lifelong wrestling fan before joining WWE. One supporter wrote, \u201cShe did say that she didn\u2019t grow up watching wrestling so this is smart & she\u2019s also in like her mid 20\u2019s so give her a break.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Stratton transitioned into skilled wrestling in 2021 after a successful gymnastics background and has quickly develop into certainly one of WWE\u2019s fastest-rising stars despite her limited exposure to wrestling before signing with the corporate.<\/p>\n
