WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff believes TNA Wrestling has taken a big step backward, saying the promotion is now \u201cone step closer to the grave\u201d<\/strong><\/em> amid recent setbacks.<\/p>\n

Speaking on a recent edition of his \u201c83 Weeks\u201d podcast, Bischoff addressed TNA\u2019s recent struggles, including workforce reductions, talent departures, and the exit of creative head Tommy Dreamer. His comments marked a notable shift from his stance in July 2025, when he predicted that TNA would surpass AEW because the world\u2019s second-largest wrestling promotion by this point in 2026.<\/p>\n

On the time, Bischoff felt TNA\u2019s partnership with WWE and its television take care of AMC had positioned the corporate for major growth. Nevertheless, with rumors swirling a couple of possible sale and the promotion facing mounting challenges, he admitted he now not sees that final result as realistic.<\/p>\n

That takes an enormous commitment. That takes money. Because if you happen to\u2019re going to be a live skilled sports entertainment version of skilled wrestling, if you happen to don\u2019t have an audience that convinces a live audience, that convinces the tv audience, I don\u2019t know why the f*** that is so hard for people to know.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThat is basic sh**, and I take heed to individuals who have been within the business for a very long time, refuse to acknowledge it, because sometimes the reality hurts.
