Former \u201cSummer House<\/strong>\u201d star West Wilson<\/strong> has broken his silence on Bravo\u2019s decision to fireside him from the long-running reality show after three years. On an episode of the \u201cBroadcast Boys\u201d podcast, Wilson, 31, said he stood by the network\u2019s selection, adding that he likely wouldn\u2019t have meshed with the solid for the upcoming season as a consequence of his recent romance with solid member Amanda Batula<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

In response to a previous report from The Blast, Wilson was let go from \u201cSummer House\u201d just ahead of season 11. A source near production said the Missouri native won\u2019t be a part of the most important solid; nevertheless, there was a slight probability he could make a cameo. <\/p>\n

On the \u201cBroadcast Boys<\/a>\u201d show, Wilson confirmed the reports, saying, \u201cI desired to tell it by myself, but that [rumor] is true.\u201d He added, \u201cIn [Bravo\u2019s] defense, I don\u2019t think it will have been a fun summer.\u201d <\/p>\n

Wilson\u2019s firing comes months after the sports journalist confirmed he was dating Batula. Although celebrity relationship announcements are nothing unusual, this one caught Bravo fans off guard due to his past relationship with Batula\u2019s former best friend, Ciara Miller, and his friendship with Batula\u2019s soon-to-be ex-husband, Kyle Cooke.<\/p>\n

The pair released a joint statement about their bond, in response to The Blast, saying that they never meant to harm the people they cared about. \u201cIt was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we want just a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,\u201d the post read. <\/p>\n

It continued, \u201cWe\u2019ve shown up for one another as friends over time, through all of the highs and lows, and what\u2019s developed recently was the very last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a real, long-standing friendship, which made it especially essential for us to approach this with care.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jesse Solomon, Wilson\u2019s best friend on the show, even admitted to being frustrated with the truth star and said he was spending time away from him. <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d he said, per The Blast. \u201cI\u2019m a extremely slow decision-maker, considered one of my Achilles heels. On this case, I believe it\u2019s fair to want a while. West must learn learn how to treat people, particularly women, because he treats other people in his life \u2014 family and friends \u2014 rather well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Solomon\u2014who spent nearly all of season 9 in the new seat as a consequence of his relationship with Lexi Wood\u2014went on to say that Wilson must make a \u201cchange\u201d in his life after being publicly blasted by plenty of his ex-girlfriends. <\/p>\n

\u201cI believe a change there may be obligatory. After which just apologizing for the things that really hurt people. I do know he\u2019s filled with regret with how this all went down, so I\u2019m hoping he can learn and grow from it and be a greater person and friend,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
