Tahir Abdullayev wins via controversial TKO <\/h2>\n

Tahir Abdullayev (21-3) had the gang on his side because the hometown favorite in Baku, Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

Jefferson Nascimento (13-0) did nothing to ingratiate himself with the audience through two rounds.<\/p>\n

Fans in attendance at UFC Baku loudly booed because the welterweight duo refused to have interaction throughout the first 10 minutes. <\/p>\n

Things got barely higher in round 3, when Abdullayev scored a takedown and landed nasty ground strikes.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, the fight resulted in controversy because the referee stepped in when Nascimento was intelligently defending himself. <\/p>\n

UFC commentator Michael Bisping called the premature stoppage \u2018awful\u2019, and the remaining of the printed team agreed.<\/p>\n

Fans hated the primary UFC Baku fight <\/h2>\n

MMA fans took to social media to voice their fury after watching the complete UFC Baku opener.<\/p>\n

\u201cCut them each, plus the ref,\u201d one fan said. \u201cThat fight was horrendous.\u00a0Cut them each.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cEach of them should be cut after this fight,\u201d a 3rd person commented.<\/p>\n

\u201cAwful fight and awful stoppage,\u201d a fourth X user wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat a s\u2014 fight.. and ref. OMG.. that was a humiliation for the UFC,\u201d another person fumed.<\/p>\n

\u201cCut each of those guys immediately,\u201d a sixth fan demanded.<\/p>\n
