Fans who attended Alex Pereira\u2019s recent seminar within the UK don\u2019t think they got their money\u2019s value.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The previous UFC light heavyweight and middleweight champion is a few weeks on from his failed try and make history on the White House.<\/p>\n

Pereira was knocked out by Ciryl Gane within the UFC Freedom 250 co-main event, a result that prevented the Brazilian from becoming the first-ever fighter to win UFC titles across three weight classes.<\/p>\n

\u2018Poatan\u2019 has been getting loads of support following that result, which is unsurprising given his popularity amongst fans. But he could have lost a number of across the pond after his alleged conduct.<\/p>\n

Alex Pereira accused of refusing to participate in pre-paid meet & greets and photos at MMA seminar<\/h2>\n

While he has been an incredibly energetic fighter since joining the UFC in 2021, Pereira has all the time found time to travel the world in between his bouts.<\/p>\n

\u2018Poatan\u2019 has held seminars in various countries since rising to stardom in MMA, including Australia, Japan, and Thailand.<\/p>\n

The primary stop on his post-UFC White House tour was the UK, as Pereira hosted a seminar in Keighley, England, on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Fans flocked to be a part of the event, however the experience was not what that they had hoped.<\/p>\n

Amid accusations that Pereira refused to participate in meet and greets or take photos that had already been paid for, the corporate that staged and advertised the event has issued a press release.<\/p>\n

\u201cDisgusted by what all of us witnessed from this man today,\u201d MMA Seminars UK wrote on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you’ve got any questions on the event, please reach out on Monday\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cThis isn’t what we do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pereira has yet to deal with those claims, but he has been defended by the corporate that organized the seminar, Joyagear.<\/p>\n

In their very own statement, Joyagear insisted that \u2018Poatan\u2019 accomplished the one-hour seminar as he had been instructed to.<\/p>\n

They took responsibility for a failure of communication regarding deliverables corresponding to photo opportunities. <\/p>\n

Charles Oliveira, Tom Aspinall, and Demetrious Johnson have all hosted successful seminars with the corporate. MMA Seminars UK is currently promoting one hosted by Georges St-Pierre this November.<\/p>\n

Fans will likely be hoping for a greater experience when the legendary two-division UFC champion arrives on English soil later this 12 months.<\/p>\n
