UFC light heavyweight Paulo Costa is completed waiting for the powers that be to present him a fight.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018Borrachinha\u2019 hasn\u2019t fought since knocking out 16-0 contender Azamat Murzakanov\u00a0with a head kick throughout the UFC 327\u00a0co-main event in April.<\/p>\n

Since then, Paulo Costa has been pestering the UFC to book his next fight, which is the last on his current contract with the promotion.<\/p>\n

Paulo Costa is willing to fight in three weight classes<\/h2>\n

Paulo Costa vented his frustration at MMA\u2019s premier promotion in a social media statement on Monday.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old has made himself available to fight in three different weight classes, but continues to be no closer to booking what could possibly be his final Octagon appearance. <\/p>\n

\u201cSince I fought in April, I actually have been in search of the following fight,\u201d Costa tweeted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve eventually opened the door to fight at heavyweight. UFC told me to attend\u2026wait\u2026 <\/p>\n

\u201cHere we’re, it\u2019s already July, and I\u2019m still seeking to fight another person at light heavyweight, middleweight, and even heavyweight, but the reply from @ufc by Hunter Campbell is similar: \u2018Wait\u2019. <\/p>\n

\u201cI need to fight. I don\u2019t wish to wait. I actually have just yet one more fight on my contract, and I need this fight to occur soon, but for some reason, they don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paulo Costa linked to UFC 330 fight<\/h2>\n

10 days ago, it was reported that Paulo Costa is ready to make his return at UFC 330 on August 15.<\/p>\n

A fight with former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka was believed to be within the works for the cardboard headlined by Islam Makhachev vs. Ian Machado Garry. <\/p>\n

Since then, something will need to have gone badly unsuitable behind the scenes to cause Costa\u2019s outburst.<\/p>\n

It now seems unlikely that we\u2019ll see the Brazilian tackle Jiri Prochazka in slightly below seven weeks\u2019 time.<\/p>\n
