An explosion has rocked Monaco, injuring three people walking out of a constructing.<\/p>\n

The victims are reportedly a Ukrainian couple and their 13-year-old son. <\/p>\n

The 2 adults are in critical condition in a Monaco hospital.<\/p>\n

CCTV allegedly shows a suspect dropping off bags shortly before the blast at around 10pm on Monday.<\/p>\n

The explosion destroyed the doorway of the Cuomo Foundation a self-described philanthropic organisation.<\/p>\n

Cops said the victims were Ukrainian, with the suspect spotted fleeing towards the border with the nearby French town of Beausoleil.<\/p>\n

It has not been declared a terrorist incident however the Mayor of Nice Eric Ciotti called it an attack.<\/p>\n

He wrote on X: \u2018The attack carried out this evening is a tragedy that has hit Monaco.<\/p>\n

\u2018Thoughts for the victims, their families, and the people of Monaco.<\/p>\n

\u2018Total support for the safety forces and emergency services mobilised.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018This is probably going an attack,\u2019 Minister of State Christophe Mirmand, said later.<\/p>\n

The explosive device likely contained bolts and shot, he added. \u2018The police are currently gathering evidence.<\/p>\n

\u2018That is the primary time in history, to my knowledge, that such an act has occurred within the Principality\u2019, he added.<\/p>\n
