Khamzat Chimaev has implored Sean Strickland to \u2018accept the fight\u2019 as he continues to call for a right away rematch.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This past May, Khamzat Chimaev was handed a shock loss when he took Sean Strickland on in his first middleweight title defense at UFC 328.<\/p>\n

Within the immediate aftermath of his surprise loss, Chimaev\u2019s brother said his \u2018body shut down\u2019 as he blamed the brutal weight cut.<\/p>\n

And after such a disappointing performance, \u2018Borz\u2019 is hopeful of securing a right away rematch along with his middleweight rival.<\/p>\n

Chimaev tells Strickland to not run as he calls for rematch again<\/h2>\n

Straight after the fight, Dana White shut down the likelihood of a right away rematch claiming that Chimaev told him he will probably be moving as much as 205lbs.<\/p>\n

Despite that, not long after Chimaev officially requested a rematch against Strickland in Abu Dhabi, targeting October.<\/p>\n

That, though, was turned down by Strickland, who would likely struggle to be cleared to fight within the Middle East as a result of his unpredictable personality.<\/p>\n

And now, in one other try and goad the American into accepting a right away rematch with him, the Chechen has sent Strickland one other message.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccept the fight, don\u2019t run, I\u2019ll beat you anyway, the earlier this happens, the simpler it would be to breathe,\u201d Chimaev wrote on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Just over a month faraway from his title loss, \u2018Borz\u2019 stepped onto the Freestyle Wrestling mats when he took on Dillon Danis at RAF 10.<\/p>\n

After beating the controversial grappler, the 2 were involved in an enormous brawl following the match, involving each their teams.<\/p>\n

Fortunately for Chimaev, though, his UFC boss wasn\u2019t too moved by the viral brawl, stating that at any time when Danis is involved, something goes to occur.<\/p>\n

Nassourdine Imavov will likely have something to say if the promotion does book a rematch between Strickland and Chimaev.<\/p>\n

Imavov is on a formidable six fight unbeaten streak and was unlucky to miss out on the title shot this past May.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, because Strickland and Chimaev were involved in such an enormous rivalry, a rematch between the 2 would likely be a more popular fight than a rematch between Strickland and Imavov.<\/p>\n
