Dozens of holidaymakers raced to bag sun beds after waiting an hour to grab their favourite spots by the pool at a Spanish hotel.<\/p>\n

Greater than 40 people joined the stampede at a hotel in Salou, just south of Tarragona on Spain\u2019s Costa Daurada.<\/p>\n

Chris, from Glasgow, Scotland, watched the frenzy because the poolside opened at 9am during his week-long stay on the hotel this month.<\/p>\n

\u2018It was a manic race and scramble for the sunbeds surrounding the pool on the hotel\u2019, he said.<\/p>\n

The Glaswegian added: \u2018I don\u2019t judge but found it funny so needed to film it.<\/p>\n

He said people had queued up on the doors to get their towels on a sunbed daily of his holiday, only to then dash back inside for breakfast before returning for a swim.<\/p>\n

Despite finding the scenes funny, he said it was unfair that guests who didn’t rise up early would miss out on a sunbed.<\/p>\n

He said: \u2018Some people jut rolled out of their bed, queued up, mad dashedto secure the bed then they were seen going back to their hotel rooms or off for breakfast.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018It doesn\u2019t leave room for individuals who don\u2019t queue for an hour.\u2019<\/p>\n

Chris, often known as ABC Man on Tiktok, uploaded the video of the scramble, set to music from the Benny Hill show.<\/p>\n

It comes as one holidaymaker shared a controversial tactic for bagging his favoured spot.<\/p>\n

Tom Caunce targeted \u2018repeat offenders\u2019 at a hotel in Mallorca with itching spray on their towels after they’d disappeared off for breakfast.<\/p>\n

The prank, which was viewed greater than 864,000 times, divided users online, a few of whom agreed with Caunce\u2019s belief it was a \u2018playful payback\u2019.<\/p>\n
