Farid Basharat believes July 11 was never going to go well for Ethyn Ewing<\/h2>\n

Earlier this week, it was reported that Ethyn Ewing is out of his fight that was set to happen at UFC 329 on July 11.<\/p>\n

Farid Basharat recently shared his response to the news that he\u2019s now without an opponent for International Fight Week via a video on his YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He said that while he wishes Ewing one of the best and that this matchup was never personal, he doesn\u2019t think his originally scheduled opponent would\u2019ve succeeded if he had made it to the fight.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo start with I would like the fans to know that I feel like Ethyn Ewing dodged a bullet,\u201d Basharat stated. \u201cLike I said, speedy recovery to him but as much because the fans loved him they usually were rooting for him, it wasn\u2019t going to go well for him. <\/p>\n
