Conor McGregor has admitted that something stood right out for him going into his MMA comeback fight against Max Holloway at UFC 329 in Las Vegas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u2018Notorious\u2019 is ready to make his long-awaited \u2014 and sensational \u2014 return to the UFC octagon within the five-round main-event fight on the T-Mobile Arena on eleventh July.<\/p>\n

Conor McGregor will climb to welterweight for the fourth time in his skilled MMA profession and can face former UFC Fight Night 26 opponent Max Holloway.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old Irishman crossed paths with Holloway in just his second fight with the UFC and McGregor picked up a unanimous decision victory back in 2013.<\/p>\n

Conor McGregor saw shades of the old version of the \u2018Notorious\u2019 creep back up ahead of his UFC 329 showdown<\/h2>\n

Conor McGregor\u2019s last encounter with MMA star Max Holloway was at featherweight throughout the UFC Fight Night 26 card on the TD Garden in Boston.<\/p>\n

The long run UFC Hall of Famer has experienced each the highs and lows contained in the octagon, including a five-year hiatus from the game ahead of UFC 329.<\/p>\n

McGregor has not won contained in the octagon since his stunning first-round TKO victory over Donald Cerrone in his UFC 246 welterweight fight on the T-Mobile Arena.<\/p>\n

Speaking ahead of UFC 329 this month, McGregor has now admitted that the \u2018older version\u2019 of himself has began to manifest within the build-up to the Holloway rematch.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn my immediate return to this game and the cameras, I discovered myself reverting to an old version of me,\u201d he told UFC on Paramount+<\/a>.<\/p>\n

UFC star Conor McGregor makes an admission concerning the former side of himself ahead of facing Max Holloway<\/h2>\n

McGregor has high expectations on his shoulders for his UFC return and the previous dual champion admitted that he will not be going to embrace the older version of himself.<\/p>\n

The UFC legend explained that he’s accepting the individual that he’s now and will not be able to slip back into his former self going into the Holloway fight at UFC 329.<\/p>\n

\u201cI needed to type of remind myself, hold on,\u201d McGregor added.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m different now. I\u2019m a distinct person.\u201d<\/p>\n

McGregor last fought contained in the MMA octagon back in 2021 and the Irish hardman suffered back-to-back defeats to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 and UFC 264.<\/p>\n
