Gilmore Girls<\/em> fans are still coming to terms with the show being faraway from Netflix \u2014 but where will or not it’s available as an alternative?<\/p>\n

Netflix broke the news in June 2026 by taking to X with an announcement that read, \u201cIt\u2019s a show? It\u2019s a way of life. It\u2019s a faith.\u201d<\/p>\n

The post continued: \u201cWe’re sorry to say that Gilmore Girls Seasons 1-7 will likely be leaving Netflix within the US on June 30. Raising a cup of coffee to each fan who visited Stars Hole with us.\u201d<\/p>\n

While only Gilmore Girls: A Yr within the Life<\/em> will remain on Netflix \u2014 for now \u2014 the unique series remains to be available to stream on Disney+, Hulu and Prime Video.<\/p>\n

Gilmore Girls<\/em>, which aired from 2000 to 2007, followed a mother-daughter pair living within the fictional town of Stars Hole, Connecticut.<\/p>\n

Along with Lauren Graham <\/strong>and Alexis Bledel<\/strong>, Gilmore Girls<\/em> starred an ensemble forged that included Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Edward Herrmann<\/strong> and Liza Weil. Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Sean Gunn, Chris Eigeman<\/strong> and Matt Czuchry<\/strong> made up the remaining of the forged.<\/p>\n

After Gilmore Girls<\/em> got here to an end, fans asked for a revival. They got their wish with Netflix\u2019s Gilmore Girls: A Yr within the Life<\/em>, which debuted in 2016. The four-episode show ended on a serious cliffhanger but there haven\u2019t been any news of more episodes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been saying for a very long time [that] what I could see making sense is a Christmas movie, within the tradition of Downton Abbey or those other forms of shows which might be over, but then type of come together especially around the vacations,\u201d Graham told The Hollywood Reporter in 2025. \u201cI believe that may be very Gilmore-friendly.\u201d<\/p>\n
