AEW’s\u00a0Adam Copeland has discussed his retirement from wrestling and named just a few stars that he still desires to have matches with.<\/p>\n

Copeland, who’s nearing the tip of his profession, said that his injury prolonged each his current AEW run and his in-ring profession, while his acting roles also took up a few of his time, which he touched upon in his interview with “SHAK Wrestling<\/a>.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

“When it comes to the timeline, yeah, that is shifted and had to alter. You already know, I broke my leg, that put me out for a bit. After which it’s filming ‘The Beekeeper,’ filming ‘Percy Jackson,'” he began.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He thanked Khan for allowing him to pursue acting while continuing to wrestle in AEW, before adding that there are still several matches he desires to have before retiring. He listed just a few singles and tag team stars that he would love to get within the ring with.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“So, by way of the timeline, I do not know. But I learn about 95% of the matches that I need to have are still on the market to have, which is pretty cool. You already know, FTR was on there, the Young Bucks are on there. There is a bunch of teams on there. After which there’s all of the singles matches that I have never got to dip into yet, between Swerve, and Ospreay, and Fletcher \u2014 I mean, Joe, Hangman. I mean, there’s just a lot to work with, you recognize, and rejoice,” said the WWE Hall of Famer.<\/p>\n

Just a few months ago, Copeland said that he may retire at 54, which will likely be in a yr’s time. The experienced star, who’s the present\u00a0AEW World Tag Team Champion with Christian Cage, has wrestled sporadically during the last yr, along with his most up-to-date match coming at Forbidden Door, where he and Cage successfully defended the title against The Dogs.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
