Chris Brown<\/strong> has to pony-up $13 million to his former housekeeper after she was allegedly disfigured by his dog. The housekeeper filed a multi-million-dollar lawsuit after she was attacked by Brown\u2019s 200-pound shepherd, Hades, outside the \u2018Loyal\u2019 singer\u2019s home in Tarzana, California, back in 2020.<\/p>\n After a two-week trial, a jury sided with Brown\u2019s former housekeeper, Maria Avila<\/strong>, and awarded her $13 million. In line with Billboard<\/a>, the jury also awarded Avila\u2019s sister, who was also working in Brown\u2019s home throughout the attack, $885,000. Avila\u2019s husband, Oscar Olivo, was awarded $50,000.<\/p>\n Avila claimed to be affected by PTSD in addition to severe scarring on her face and left arm. She reportedly needed skin-graft surgery on her left arm, and she or he was left with <\/span> \u201craised and pitted skin.\u201d She also has scars on her brow and under her eye, per Rolling Stone<\/a>.<\/p>\n Brown said on the stand that he had warned Avila to not go outside without his security guards because Hades was an unfriendly guard dog. The housekeeper was attacked while taking out the rubbish.
