Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel<\/strong> went on an expletive-laced, homophobic rant against longtime Cleveland sports radio host Tom Rizzo<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week, Rizzo, 64, resurfaced an appearance<\/a> Manziel, 33, made on Shannon Sharpe<\/strong> and Chad Johnson<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cNightcap\u201d Podcast last yr, through which the previous Cleveland Browns quarterback said he actively roots against the franchise yearly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cRizz, you silly c**t,\u201d Manziel wrote in a since-deleted post via X on Wednesday, July 1. \u201cThese comments were made in October of last yr, but, in fact, you bored homos within the Cleveland media don’t have anything to talk about because your quarterback stopped banging massage therapists and you may only talk about losing a lot to all the those that hearken to this trash ass show.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Manziel referred to Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson<\/strong>, who was accused of sexual assault by multiple massage therapists in 2021. A grand jury declined to press charges against Watson, 30, in March 2022, though he was still served with an 11-game suspension by the NFL.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Manziel was chosen by the Browns with the twenty second overall pick within the 2014 NFL Draft. His profession was ultimately doomed, starting just eight games over two seasons before leaving the NFL entirely.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
