Lewis Hamilton<\/strong> gave girlfriend Kim Kardashian<\/strong> a shout-out ahead of the British Grand Prix, calling her the source of his happiness.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve been a happier man recently, why\u2019s that? Could that be a girlfriend?\u201d one fan asked Hamilton, 41, on Thursday, July 2, as he stood on stage at Silverstone within the U.K., via the Day by day Mail<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Broadcaster David Croft<\/strong> chimed in, joking, \u201cYou already know why he\u2019s asking? He just must know if Kimi needs two towels or not,\u201d seemingly referring to Kardashian, 45, unintentionally using Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli<\/strong>\u2019s towel on the Monaco Gran Prix earlier this summer. (Kardashian later sent Antonelli, 19, a brand new towel<\/a> after realizing her faux pas.)<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, that\u2019s one,\u201d Hamilton said with fun.<\/p>\n

Hamilton \u2014 who’s in England for the British Grand Prix, which runs from Friday, July 3, to Sunday, July 5 \u2014 didn\u2019t immediately reply to the query about Kardashian, selecting as an alternative to deal with his F1 success over the past yr.<\/p>\n

While Hamilton and Kardashian\u2019s romantic relationship is somewhat recent, their friendship goes back greater than a decade.<\/p>\n

The pair memorably posed for photos together on the 2014 GQ Men of the 12 months ceremony when Kardashian was married to Kanye West<\/strong> and Hamilton was dating Nicole Scherzinger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hamilton split from Scherzinger, 47, in 2015 after dating on and off for seven years. Kardashian, who shares 4 children with West, 49, divorced the rapper in 2021 after six years of marriage.<\/p>\n

Roughly five years after Kardashian\u2019s divorce, she sparked romance rumors with Hamilton after the duo were seen together at Estelle Manor in Oxfordshire, England, on January 31.<\/p>\n
