Hack Capital\u00a0from Unsplash<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nFIBER BROADBAND and technology solutions provider Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. has partnered with the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) to support workforce upskilling and artificial intelligence (AI) readiness within the country\u2019s information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) sector.<\/span><\/p>\nThe partnership follows Converge\u2019s membership in IBPAP, an industry association representing greater than 400 member corporations.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cWe want to level up the abilities of our staff and transform our industries to enable us to capture the opportunities being offered by the AI boom,\u201d Converge Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony H. Uy said in an announcement on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\nHe said the industry must equip staff with the abilities needed to adapt to AI and other emerging technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cThe subsequent step is to capacitate our staff with skills mandatory to navigate AI and other emerging technologies,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\nHe added that Converge\u2019s membership in IBPAP presents \u201ca primary opportunity for possible collaboration\u201d as AI adoption accelerates.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven before we became a member, my mindset has all the time been to guard this industry of nearly two million staff. Since we’re a world hub of business process outsourcing together with India, I\u2019ve desired to help upskill staff, especially for artificial intelligence preparedness,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\nIBPAP also collaborates with six industry associations: the Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc., Global Capability Center Philippines, Customer Xperience Association of the Philippines, Game Developers Association of the Philippines, Healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines, and the Philippine Software Industry Association.<\/p>\n
