An Arsenal player is reportedly being questioned in relation to an alleged prostitution ring, which police fear may involve as much as 50 footballers.<\/p>\n

Premier League star Riccardo Calafiori, 24, has reportedly been summoned as a witness by prosecutors in Milan.<\/p>\n

It follows claims of an alleged \u2018escort agency\u2019 allegedly run by an organization, which hasn\u2019t been named, operating out of Milan.<\/p>\n

The corporate is accused of hosting celebrities and footballers at events across the town linked with the agency.<\/p>\n

Police are also understood to have spoken with Lazio midfielder Daniel Maldini, son of AC Milan legend Paolo, in addition to former Bologna defender Kevin Bonifazi.<\/p>\n

Not one of the three players are under formal investigation, local media reported.<\/p>\n

The players are among the many first to face questioning by prosecutor Rosaria Stagnaro and deputy prosecutor Bruna Albertini.<\/p>\n

Around 50 sportsmen are said to be tied to the game, including other footballers.<\/p>\n

The investigation also names Inter Milan star Alessandro Bastoni, 27, who’s alleged to have had a sexual relationship with an underage girl.<\/p>\n

He denies the claims against him and didn’t appear on the prosecutor\u2019s office for questioning on Friday.<\/p>\n

It’s claimed the girl \u2013 who was 17 and eight months old on the time of the alleged incident \u2013 had sexual relations with Bastoni in July 2021, when he was 21, after meeting within the small town of Cinisello Balsamo.<\/p>\n

But she also denied the fees, testifying: \u2018I\u2019m not a prostitute and I didn\u2019t take money for sex.\u2019<\/p>\n

Bastoni received a blind summons to the Milan Prosecutor\u2019s Office. Under Italian law, he didn\u2019t should attend, and a summons doesn’t imply guilt. <\/p>\n
