Ronda Rousey will probably be making a rare appearance at an upcoming MMA event for charity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In May, Rousey helped draw tens of millions of viewers for the primary MMA event to air survive Netflix.<\/p>\n

While Gina Carano\u2019s remarkable health transformation was her clear reason for wanting to return to the cage, her opponent expressed other motivations.<\/p>\n

\u2018Rowdy\u2019 wanting to positively impact MMA by getting back from a ten-year hiatus goes hand-in-hand with an MMA event that may happen later this month.<\/p>\n

Ronda Rousey set to attend charity MMA event to lift money for fighter pension fund<\/h2>\n

Ronda Rousey spoke so much about fighter pay and giving athletes more power ahead of her return to the cage on May 16.<\/p>\n

While \u2018Rowdy\u2019 pushing for fighters to make more during their careers is a positive, there continues to be the query of what awaits former combatants once they hang up the gloves.<\/p>\n

The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) have partnered with Raymond Vineyards to placed on Napa Knockout on July 25.<\/p>\n

All the proceeds from this combat sports event will go towards the commission\u2019s Fighter Pension Fund.<\/p>\n

The cardboard, which features MMA, boxing, and Muay Thai, is about to be attended by three of the celebs of the primary MMA event on Netflix, Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano, and Nate Diaz.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is the primary fight card I\u2019m going to attend in god knows how long \u2013 it\u2019s a charity event in Napa to lift money for the California fighter pensions so in case you care about supporting retired fighters and might make it you need to consider going,\u201d Rousey wrote on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

General admission tickets for the Raymond Vineyards are set at $500, with ringside seats available for $1000.<\/p>\n

CSAC implemented the primary retirement fund for MMA fighters back in 2023, with it being funded by $1 of each ticket sold for an MMA event going towards it.<\/p>\n

Rousey publicly supported the bill that requires fighters to have fought in at the least 39 rounds in CSAC-sanctioned fights in an effort to be eligible for the fund.<\/p>\n

The likes of Scott Coker, Gilbert Melendez, and Josh Thomson are also set to be in attendance.<\/p>\n
