The past few weeks have been very busy for AEW star Brian Cage. Not only did he return to All Elite Wrestling after missing 15 months of motion as a result of a series of knee injuries, but he can also be a part of one among the most important movies of the yr. Cage stars in “Disclosure Day,” the most recent movie from iconic filmmaker Steven Spielberg who needed two wrestlers for his movie, and through a recent episode of Chris Van Vliet’s “Insight<\/a>”\u00a0podcast, Cage revealed that it was Chavo Guerrero who got his foot within the door.<\/p>\n

“So Chavo [Guerrero] hits me up for this TV show, he’s just like the liaison for wrestling in Hollywood. So he hits me up for this TV show, it doesn’t occur\u2013well it was going to occur, it gets postponed. Then he goes ‘Hey,’ and I do not even know what it’s. He goes ‘I feel you’d fit really great for this role. Contact this guy and provides him every part he wants.” Cage would give the unknown individual all of the knowledge required, and after weeks of not hearing anything, it was while Cage was on the gym where he received an e-mail from Guerrero telling Cage to call him back.<\/p>\n

“I call him, and again I do not even know what the project is, nothing, and he goes ‘Yeah man, I used to be watching it and Steven loves you. He loves you, look, he just wants you on the set, blah, blah, blah.’ I am going, and he keeps saying Steven, I am going ‘Steven? Who’s Steven?’ and he goes ‘Oh, the director, Steven Spielberg,’ and I’m like ‘Wait, what?!'”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cage revealed that Spielberg liked his footage a lot that he allowed Cage to select one other wrestler to work with on set. Naturally, Cage looked inwards and picked his Murder Machines tag team partner Lance Archer. The 2 men worked on set for 3 days, and even got to speak wrestling with Spielberg in between scenes, with the legendary director admitting that he would like to attend a wrestling show in some unspecified time in the future soon.<\/p>\n
