\u201cStar Wars\u201d actor Mark Hamill<\/strong> is opening up about why he didn\u2019t attend Taylor Swift<\/strong> and Travis Kelce<\/strong>\u2019s star-studded wedding. On July 3, the couple exchanged vows at Madison Square Garden in Latest York City. Although over one thousand guests were in attendance, Hamill revealed why he didn’t attend the lavish event.<\/p>\n In August 2025, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement with a photograph of them posing in a floral garden. Hamill used that photo when he explained why he didn\u2019t attend their wedding, as guests weren’t allowed to bring their phones into the event and Swift has yet to publish any highlights from her big day.<\/p>\n \u201cCongratulations to the newlyweds!\u201d he wrote within the caption of his Instagram <\/a>post. \u201cI declined to attend the marriage for a wide range of personal reasons, but mainly because I wasn\u2019t invited.\u201d He capped off his caption with a church emoji.<\/p>\n It stays to be seen how well Mark Hamill actually knew the couple with a purpose to rating an invitation, but that didn\u2019t stop fans from sticking up for him within the comments.<\/p>\n \u201cThey invited a thousand people and never Mark Hamill.
