Nikki Garcia<\/strong> is on the brink of return to the ring.<\/p>\n

The WWE Hall of Famer \u2014 who goes by Nikki Bella professionally \u2014 shared an update on her recovery after undergoing ankle surgery for an injury she sustained within the lead-up to WrestleMania 42\u00a0in April.<\/p>\n

In a series of Instagram Stories posts on Sunday, July 5, Garcia shared photos and videos of her appearing to coach inside a wrestling ring. In a single picture taken by her 5-year-old son, Matteo, the wrestler, 42, will be seen flexing her biceps within the ring, while one other picture shows her and Matteo lying on the canvas. (The athlete shares Matteo with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev<\/strong> of Dancing With the Stars<\/em> fame.)<\/p>\n

In April, Nikki and twin sister Brie Garcia<\/strong> (aka Brie Bella) were set to compete for the WWE Women\u2019s Tag Team Championship in a fatal four-way match at WrestleMania, but Nikki had to drag out on the last minute resulting from an injury.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLiv Morgan took aim at Nikki Garcia\u2019s relationship status after the gloves got here off during WWE Raw. Morgan, 31, slammed Nikki, 42, online after the previous got here face-to-face along with her twin sister, Brie Garcia, and fellow WWE Women\u2019s Tag Team Champion Paige in the course of the Monday, May 11, showdown, in Knoxville, Tennessee, resulting in barbs being [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nikki revealed on the time that she had been injured in March and needed to undergo ankle surgery before the massive two-night wrestling extravaganza.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll fill you all in soon \u2026 fractured, tore and sprained my ankle,\u201d she wrote over a video showing her bruised foot shared via X in April. \u201cIt\u2019s been a painful two weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a post-WrestleMania press conference, she added, \u201cSo I actually got surgery two weeks ago yesterday. So I managed to interrupt, sprain, and tear my ankle.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Nikki was unable to team up with sister Brie at WrestleMania, she still made an appearance \u2014 albeit on crutches \u2014 as she cheered on Brie and Brie\u2019s surprise tag team partner, returning WWE star Paige<\/strong>, within the Women\u2019s Tag Team Championship fatal four-way match. Brie and Paige (real name Saraya-Jade Bevis) won the match, defeating the teams of Nia Jax<\/strong> and Lash Legend<\/strong>, Charlotte Flair<\/strong> and Alexa Bliss<\/strong> and Bayley<\/strong> and Lyra Valkyria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
