England punched its ticket to the quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after edging Mexico in an exciting Round of 16 showdown, and the dramatic contest sparked loads of reactions from stars across WWE and AEW.<\/p>\n

The match featured nonstop drama from start to complete. England stormed right into a 2-0 lead after Jude Bellingham scored twice within the span of two first-half minutes, but Mexico responded quickly to chop the deficit before halftime.<\/p>\n

The second half only intensified the spectacle. England was reduced to 10 men when Jarell Quansah was shown a red card for a reckless challenge within the 54th minute. Despite the setback, Harry Kane converted a penalty to increase England\u2019s advantage to 3-1. Mexico answered with a spot kick of its own to maintain hopes alive, but England held on to secure the victory.<\/p>\n

One among the most important talking points outside the motion on the pitch was the electrical atmosphere created by Mexico\u2019s supporters, who earned widespread praise for his or her passionate backing throughout the match despite the heartbreaking result.<\/p>\n

WWE star Blake Monroe also joined the celebrations, posting,<\/p>\n

AEW\u2019s Andrade showed respect for either side by describing it as a \u201cgood game,\u201d<\/em><\/strong> while El Grande Americano shared a video message saying he was pleased with each the Mexican team and its supporters. The masked star was also spotted in attendance throughout the match and received a loud ovation from the gang.<\/p>\n

With the victory, England advances to the quarterfinals, where it would face Norway because it continues its quest for FIFA World Cup glory.<\/p>\n
