Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are facing recent criminal charges in Romania, including sexually exploiting a 17-year-old girl.<\/p>\n

Andrew, 39, and Tristan, 37, are facing a string of charges from the country\u2019s directorate for investigating organised crime and terrorism (DIICOT).<\/p>\n

This includes allegations of the illegal sale of supercars, human
trafficking, witness intimidation, and money laundering.<\/p>\n

The self-styled misogyny influencers are accused of manipulating a teenage girl into working for his or her pornography business between 2014 and 2021.<\/p>\n

In response to DIICOT, as reported in The Telegraph<\/a>, Tristan controlled her webcam account and set financial targets for her to realize.<\/p>\n

Through this sexual exploitation, the brothers are said to have obtained roughly \u00a31.1million. <\/p>\n

Tristan can also be accused of recruiting three other women between 2018 and 2021, using \u2018the lover boy method\u2019, which uses emotional blackmail and lavish gift giving to coerce alleged victims into sex work.<\/p>\n

DIICOT claimed that each brothers threatened, attempted to intimidate, or used offers of \u2018exorbitant compensations\u2019 to get witnesses \u2013 including two alleged victims \u2013 to withdraw their cooperation.<\/p>\n

Andrew can also be accused of selling five luxury vehicles to customers and corporations within the UK, despite the cars being subject to seizure orders.<\/p>\n

The brothers are also pending trial within the UK on 21 charges, including rape and human trafficking, after criminal proceedings against them conclude in Romania.<\/p>\n

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed that Andrew faces 10 charges connected to 3 alleged victims, which include rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain.<\/p>\n

His brother is charged with 11 counts connected to at least one alleged victim, similarly including rape, actual bodily harm, and human trafficking.<\/p>\n

The accusers\u2019 names are being withheld from the defendants by Bedfordshire Police, which the Tates\u2019 lawyer Sallie Bennett-Jenkins KC has argued against.<\/p>\n

She stated in written submissions that \u2018the controversial opinions of the claimants are usually not a correct basis for denying them basic information concerning the criminal allegations they face.\u2019<\/p>\n

In the identical submission, she had argued that the CPS had made an \u2018inflated assumption of risk\u2019 that the pair would discover complainants on social media, causing them to withdraw. <\/p>\n

Tom Little KC, who was representing the CPS and the Chief Constable of Bedfordshire Police,\u00a0denied this and said the choice not to reveal names was a \u2018time-limited\u2019 one.<\/p>\n

He added it was being \u2018kept under review\u2019 until \u2018proceedings begin substantively\u2019 within the UK.<\/p>\n

In March, Hertfordshire Constabulary also made the choice to reinvestigate the older Tate for alleged rape and sexual assaults after the case was initially closed in 2019.<\/p>\n

The force said in an announcement: \u2018We’re committed to doing what is true and ensuring that allegations of such a serious nature are properly, thoroughly and fully investigated, irrespective of how way back they occurred.\u2019<\/p>\n

The brothers have denied all charges and allegations, each within the UK and in Romania.<\/p>\n
