Officers also accused Mackenzie in September 2024 of hiding dozens of contraband items \u2014 from bags of nuts, boxes of jello and marshmallow fluff to \u201cdangle earrings constructed from charms stolen from the kindware room,\u201d \u201cbottles of mixed pills\u201d and a \u201clarge stack of very tiny Monopoly money.\u201d<\/p>\n

Among the most eyebrow-raising violations involved video calls. In April 2025, Mackenzie was penalized for having greater than \u201c100 video visits\u201d with an \u201cex inmate that was released\u201d who was not approved to contact her.
