Booker T doesn’t find fault with WWE over Sheamus’ exit from the promotion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sheamus reportedly rejected WWE’s suggestion to restructure his deal and has left the promotion, ending his long profession with the promotion. While discussing it on his “Hall of Fame<\/a>” show, he questioned why individuals are surprised and even wondered what the term “lifer” meant in pro wrestling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I said, ‘Man, we’re in a unique time now. It ain’t prefer it was back within the day.’ You recognize what I mean? You recognize, when it is the Attitude Era, if you think guys are going to be around, , for 100 years, that was never there. After I hear the term ‘lifer,’ , [people saying] ‘I assumed he was going to be a lifer. I assumed he was good.’ What the hell does that actually mean in a job? Once you work at a job, what does that actually mean? I mean, does anybody expect any basketball player to remain on the identical team perpetually? Any football player?” he asked.<\/p>\n

Booker T identified that Sheamus has had a virtually two-decade-long profession with WWE, rubbishing claims that such releases may very well be an issue for the corporate.<\/p>\n

“But there is a life expectancy in all the things, okay?” he said. “Sheamus is 48 years old. Sheamus began in WWE in 2007 within the FCW program. He began on the major roster in 2009. This guy’s had a rattling near 20-year profession as an expert wrestler in a single company.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Booker T recalled his own experience, stating how he prepared himself for an alternate profession path once he turned 30, ultimately resulting in him starting his wrestling school. He’s confident that Sheamus also has similar plans.<\/p>\n

He revealed that he had a conversation with WWE when it switched management to ask about his standing within the promotion. The WWE legend said he wasn’t content to change into complacent and believes Sheamus, too, will wish to work elsewhere after his WWE exit, with reports suggesting he can have loads of options.<\/p>\n

“Someone like Sheamus, a four-time world champion, all right, he’s put in his work. And the thing is, if Sheamus left WWE, he still can go and make cash and still do that thing for nonetheless many more years he actually desires to do it, if he desires to do it,” said Booker T.<\/p>\n

The “WWE NXT” commentator absolved WWE management of any wrongdoing in Sheamus’ situation, explaining that this might occur at any company.<\/p>\n

“So after I hear people literally attempting to make WWE the bad guy when someone gets released, laid off, or fired, that just gets me because that happens in any corporation. It really does,” he concluded.<\/p>\n

Sheamus, while reportedly still under contract with WWE, was recently moved to WWE’s alumni section.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article><\/div>\n
