Mumbai, July 4 (IANS) Veteran actor Anil Kapoor once revealed that he was not initially speculated to be an element of the long-lasting \u2018Ek Do Teen\u2019 track from his 1988 release \u201cTezaab\u201d.<\/p>\n
During his appearance on \u201cThe Kapil Sharma Show\u2019, Anil shared that originally the track was speculated to be only picturized on the leading lady of the drama, Madhuri Dixit.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, after listening to the song, Anil was convinced that it was going to be a serious hit, hence he urged the composer Laxmikant, \u201cI will even be an element of this song\u201d.<\/p>\n
When Laxmikant argued that it was a lady\u2019s track, Anil replied, \u201cI don\u2019t care\u201d.<\/p>\n
Then Anil called renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar and requested him to alter the lyrics.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe song was not an element of the script, but I made it occur\u201d, concluded the \u2018Animal\u2019 actor.<\/p>\n
Directed and produced by N. Chandra, \u201cTezaab\u201d starred Anil and Madhuri because the lead pair, together with Anupam Kher, Chunky Panday, Kiran Kumar, and Suresh Oberoi because the supporting solid, together with others.<\/p>\n
Released on 11 November 1988, it became the highest-grossing Hindi film of the yr, having fun with a golden jubilee run within the cinema halls.<\/p>\n
\u201cTezaab\u201d can also be remembered by the movie buffs for its chartbuster soundtracks \u2018Ek Do Teen\u2019, \u2018So Gaya Yeh Jahan\u2019, and \u2018Keh Do Ke Tum\u2019 scored by composer duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal.<\/p>\n
Up next, Anil can be seen playing a major role within the much-anticipated spy thriller \u201cAlpha\u201d, where he’ll share the screen with Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, and Sharvari.<\/p>\n
