Donald Trump has warned he could also be assassinated by\u00a0Iran\u00a0as he’s the regime\u2019s \u2018primary goal\u2019.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a news conference at the top of the Nato summit in Turkey, Trump said: \u2018Iran had leaders, they\u2019re gone. And so they had one other set of leaders; they\u2019re gone. <\/p>\n

\u2018Now they’ve one other set of leaders. They might be gone. Who knows? And you recognize what? I could also be gone too, because I\u2019m their primary goal. <\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s out in every single place. I\u2019m their primary because they\u2019re scum. That\u2019s the best way they act, and that\u2019s the best way they\u2019ve done it for 47 years.\u2019<\/p>\n

Trump also rejected that the war with\u00a0Iran\u00a0had been a \u2018strategic dead end\u2019, saying that he thought it was the \u2018opposite\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018The\u00a0Iran\u00a0war has been an amazing military success,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, Iran said it had launched attacks on 85 US military sites in Bahrain and Kuwait after the US carried out fresh strikes on multiple industrial vessels on the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n

US Central Command said they began the assault to \u2018to impose heavy costs for targeting and attacking industrial shipping crewed by innocent individuals in a global waterway\u2019.<\/p>\n

Multiple oil tankers were targeted yesterday and today, the UK Maritime Trade Operations confirmed.<\/p>\n

Now, Iran\u2019s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has framed its latest motion as retaliation for what it called a US ceasefire violation.<\/p>\n

In a press release, CENTCOM said: \u2018Iran\u2019s demonstrated aggression was unwarranted, dangerous, and a transparent violation of the ceasefire.\u2019<\/p>\n

The attacks got here hours after the US said it could reinstate sanctions on Iran due to the strikes on ships.<\/p>\n

In late June, the\u00a0US\u00a0and\u00a0Iran\u00a0have accused one another of violating the terms of the ceasefire after\u00a0the 2 countries exchanged fire<\/p>\n

Days after Trump\u00a0signed a peace agreement with the country, US Central Command (Centcom)\u00a0declared it had hit multiple targets across Iran.<\/p>\n
