The solid and filmmakers behind Disney\u2019s highly anticipated live-action Moana got here together at the enduring Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles for the film\u2019s spectacular world premiere. Amongst those in attendance were Dwayne Johnson, Catherine Laga\u02bbaia (Moana), director and executive producer Thomas Kail, producer and songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda, together with solid members Rena Owen and John Tui.<\/p>\n

Dwayne Johnson Channels Maui On The Blue Carpet<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Stealing the highlight on the blue carpet, Dwayne Johnson embraced his beloved character Maui by sporting the demigod\u2019s iconic magical hook. The Hollywood superstar made it a memorable family affair, arriving together with his wife and daughters, delighting fans and photographers alike.<\/p>\n

The evening began with Thomas Kail and Lin-Manuel Miranda welcoming guests before introducing the renowned Nonosina dancers, whose fascinating performance brought the spirit of the Pacific Islands to life through traditional dance, live percussion, chanting, and vocals. The celebration continued with a standard Polynesian ceremony featuring Catherine Laga\u02bbaia and Dwayne Johnson, who joined within the festivities with energetic dance moves that reflected the wealthy cultural heritage at the guts of Moana.<\/p>\n

In Moana, Disney\u2019s live-action reimagining of the beloved Oscar\u00ae\ufe0f-nominated animated adventure, Moana (Catherine Laga\u02bbaia) answers the Ocean\u2019s call and, for the primary time, voyages beyond the reef of her island home, Motunui, alongside the legendary demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) on an unforgettable journey to revive prosperity to her people.<\/p>\n

The solid features Catherine Laga\u02bbaia as Moana, Dwayne Johnson as Maui, John Tui as Moana\u2019s father, Chief Tui, Frankie Adams as her mother, Sina, and Rena Owen as Grandma Tala. Along the best way, we\u2019ll also meet an array of lovable animal characters, Pua the pig and Heihei the rooster, who help Moana on her journey.<\/p>\n

Disney\u2019s reimagining of the beloved Oscar\u00ae\ufe0f-nominated animated adventure is directed by Emmy\u00ae\ufe0f and Tony Award\u00ae\ufe0f winner Thomas Kail (Hamilton). The film is produced by Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Beau Flynn, Hiram Garcia, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, and executive produced by Thomas Kail, Scott Sheldon, Charles Newirth, and Auli\u02bbi Cravalho, who voiced Moana within the animated movies Moana and Moana 2.<\/p>\n

Featuring original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa\u02bbi, and Mark Mancina, together with an original rating composed by Mancina, Moana brings the beloved story to life on an epic scale for a brand new generation.
