Kenny Omega is your latest AEW World Champion after defeating MJF through the latest episode of AEW Dynamite to win the gold for a second time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Omega last held the title from December 2020 to November 2021, before he dropped the title to \u2018Hangman\u2019 Adam Page at that yr\u2019s AEW Full Gear.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Taking to Twitter, Omega reflected on the long journey back to the title and was grateful to those fans who never gave up on him winning the gold again.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Omega\u2019s showdown with MJF was a \u2018Last Probability\u2019 match, meaning it was Omega\u2019s final opportunity to win the AEW World Championship from the previous champ.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Omega is in third place for many overall days as champion, behind MJF (560 days over three reigns) and Jon Moxley (620 days over 4 reigns).\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
