Moses Itauma respects Filip Hrgovic\u2019s accomplishments, but he doesn\u2019t imagine the Croatian\u2019s recent victories over David Adeleye, Dave Allen and Joe Joyce will prepare him for what he\u2019ll face after they meet on August 29 on the O2 Arena in London.<\/p>\n

The unbeaten heavyweight made it clear that while Hrgovic\u2019s record deserves recognition, he sees himself as a totally different challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cI respect you. You\u2019ve done so much in boxing. You\u2019ve done so much greater than I actually have,\u201d said Moses Itauma to Queensberry Promotions. \u201cThose accolades won\u2019t fight for you. I ain\u2019t David Adeleye. I ain\u2019t Dave Allen. I ain\u2019t Joe Joyce.<\/p>\n

\u201cI need to say, even surviving that barrage of punches from David Adeleye, and he\u2019s a giant hitter. Like I said, our thing is exploiting one in all Hrgovic\u2019s tendencies or just a few of them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hrgovic (19-1, 15 KOs) revived his profession this yr with victories over Joyce, Allen and Adeleye after suffering the lone defeat of his profession against Daniel Dubois in June 2024.
