Love Island USA<\/em>\u2018s Trinity Tatum<\/strong> opened up about how her age gap with Bryce Alakai Dettloff<\/strong> was a priority for her.<\/p>\n

Throughout the Thursday, July 9, episode of the show, Trinity and Bryce spoke with one another\u2019s members of the family. Trinity recalled her initial concerns about their dynamic, saying, \u201cAt first I used to be somewhat nervous. I wasn\u2019t sure about Bryce.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cThe age gap is horrifying for me. But now I see it as a green flag.\u201d<\/p>\n

Love Island USA<\/em> originally premiered within the U.K. in 2002 before it expanded worldwide with various spinoffs, including Love Island USA<\/em> on Peacock. The series follows a distinct group of singles every season who must pair off with a view to stay within the show\u2019s luxury villa.<\/p>\n

The contestants \u2014 known as Islanders \u2014 live in isolation in a villa and are under constant video surveillance. They need to be coupled up to stay on the show and stand a probability at receiving the$100,000 prize.<\/p>\n
