importing fuel. Supplies of gasoline and diesel from Belarus to Russia hit a monthly record in June, while industry sources said last week that Russia had began seaborne imports of gasoline from India.<\/p>\n<p>Traders said that as much as 6,000 tons of gasoline per day are delivered from neighboring Belarus to Russia. Stockpiles are also being tapped.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told a televised government meeting on Wednesday that the fuel situation remained complex and that \u201cit is obvious that the present situation at filling stations is causing concern amongst the general public.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There are long queues at some filling stations in plenty of Russian regions.
