Former AEW World Champion MJF is a star in AEW akin to Roman Reigns\u2019 role in WWE, not less than in keeping with former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman.<\/p>\n

MJF has been an element of AEW since 2019 and is a multi-time AEW World Champion, in addition to a former AEW International Champion.<\/p>\n

On Twitter, Coachman spoke about MJF and his recent AEW World Championship loss, and compared the young wrestler to Reigns. He said,<\/p>\n

\u201cMJF \u2014 he’s the Roman Reigns of AEW. If Tony Khan ever lets MJF walk, it\u2019s going to be just because they refuse to pay him what he wants.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite his high praise for MJF, Coachman believes that it was right for AEW to take the World Title off him and put the gold on Kenny Omega. He said,<\/p>\n

\u201cSo now they put it on a legend \u2014 a man in Kenny Omega that has one really good run left in him\u2026 But are they going to change it in a short time like they did with Sami Zayn to get it to CM Punk? Will it’s MJF, Omega, simply to get it to Will Ospreay?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Omega is currently set to face Will Ospreay, the winner of the 2026 Owen Hart Men\u2019s Foundation Tournament, at AEW All In: London.\u00a0<\/p>\n
