Josh Hokit isn\u2019t a fan of the best way Paddy Pimblett reacted to Conor McGregor\u2019s UFC 329 injury.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday night after months of anticipation, Conor McGregor finally returned to the cage after over five years when he took on Max Holloway within the UFC 329 fundamental event.<\/p>\n

Despite the eager anticipation, the Irishman suffered a brutal knee injury within the opening seconds, which rendered him unable to proceed as Holloway was awarded the win.<\/p>\n

And within the midst of the response from the MMA world, UFC 329 star Paddy Pimblett declared himself the brand new face of the UFC in his response to McGregor\u2019s injury.<\/p>\n

Josh Hokit not a fan of how Pimblett reacted to McGregor\u2019s injury<\/h2>\n

Throughout fight week, \u2018The Baddy\u2019 was extremely open regarding how much of a fan of McGregor he has been throughout his profession, in addition to been honored to share a card with him.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old went on to attain an especially dominant win over Benoit Saint-Denis, choking him unconscious in under a minute.<\/p>\n

And following that, he witnessed McGregor\u2019s injury while backstage, showing no sympathy for his peer following his devastating injury.<\/p>\n

That’s something that hasn\u2019t sat well with fellow UFC star, Josh Hokit, who has labeled Pimblett \u2018two faced\u2019 for his response to McGregor\u2019s loss.<\/p>\n

\u201cFighters are essentially the most two faced people on the earth\u2026 Nothing but respect and bow downs to at least one one other when it\u2019s convenient\u2026 And also you wonder why I do what I do,\u201d Hokit wrote on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite that, within the post-fight press conference, Pimblett seemingly modified his tune, stating that he \u2018feels bad\u2019 for McGregor.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was sad to see but that\u2019s the thing with this sport, you\u2019ve got to remain consistent, you\u2019ve got to maintain fighting and I believe where he hasn\u2019t fought in so long, his body couldn\u2019t sustain with it. Coming out and throwing a crazy kick like that very first thing\u2026 I feel bad for him he\u2019s put a lot into coming back\u2026 Got to feel for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pimblett was willing to fight the Irishman next if he was capable of beat Holloway, nonetheless, that fight is now dead and buried with it unknown whether McGregor will ever return again.<\/p>\n
