Rumors surrounding Hulk Hogan and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Brutus Beefcake have resurfaced after comments from Brutus\u2019 wife, Missy Beefcake, who firmly denied long-standing allegations that the 2 wrestling legends were romantically involved.<\/p>\n

The speculation dates back to Hulk Hogan\u2019s highly publicized split from his ex-wife, Linda Hogan. In 2007, Linda filed for divorce, and in her 2011 memoir Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes, she accused Hogan of multiple affairs and claimed he had relationships with men, specifically naming Brutus Beefcake.<\/p>\n

Hogan strongly denied the allegations, insisting that he had never been abusive toward Linda and saying that if he were gay, he would don’t have any issue admitting it. He later filed a defamation lawsuit against Linda, arguing that the accusations damaged his status and profession. Brutus Beefcake also announced legal motion over the claims, though the lawsuits were ultimately dropped.<\/p>\n

During a recent appearance on the \u201cMonte & The Pharaoh\u201d podcast, Missy Beefcake was asked directly about Linda Hogan\u2019s allegations and dismissed them without hesitation. She said,<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, here, let\u2019s go there. Nowadays, it wouldn\u2019t shock me if there was like this big gay thing, right? But knowing my husband and knowing the depths of p***y, I understand it didn\u2019t occur.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cBut so there was the lawsuit. Hogan was having the lawsuit with Linda, and he said, \u2018Brother, you\u2019re involved within the lawsuit, too. That is what\u2019s going to occur. My attorneys are going to deal with the lawsuit, and I\u2019m suing Linda, you\u2019re suing Linda. It\u2019s happening.\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSo, we were involved with attorneys that were filing the lawsuit. After which hastily, Hogan settled his lawsuit with Linda. I don\u2019t know what the terms were. And Brutus was like, \u2018Hey, what about my lawsuit?\u2019 they usually were like, \u2018Nah, we\u2019re not moving forward with that. We\u2019re all set.’\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSo, my take is that they were like, \u2018Listen, Linda, listen, Linda. Settle the lawsuit. We\u2019ll drop the Beefcake situation, and it\u2019ll all be done.’\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She also pushed back against the long-held perception that Brutus Beefcake\u2019s profession was built on Hogan\u2019s popularity, arguing that the alternative was true. She said,<\/p>\n

\u201cWhich to me is what Hogan has at all times done with Brutus. People say, Brutus rode Hogan\u2019s coattails, but my take is, without Brutus Beefcake, there really wouldn\u2019t be any Hulk Hogan. That\u2019s the reality.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Each Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake have since taken their places within the WWE Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n
