\u201cReal Housewives of Salt Lake City<\/strong>\u201d star Lisa Barlow<\/strong> revealed Mary Cosby<\/strong>\u2018s son, Robert Cosby Jr., died the day before filming was scheduled to start for season 7. During her appearance on Andy Cohen<\/strong>\u2018s \u201cRadio Andy,\u201d the outspoken reality star praised Mary for a way she\u2019s handled the difficult loss and spoke about how the tragic event shaped the season. <\/p>\n

Barlow, an \u201cRHOSLC\u201d OG, spoke with Dorina Medley on \u201cRadio Andy<\/a>\u201d and said Robert Jr.\u2019s death was the \u201chardest thing\u201d to experience. She said that the unlucky event was a \u201cbonding moment\u201d for all the solid. <\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the course of the conversation, Barlow highlighted Mary\u2019s strength, noting that the 53-year-old lost her son \u201cliterally the night before we began filming.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on Barlow, Mary, who has also been a part of the \u201cRHOSLC\u201d solid since season 1 aired in 2020, has \u201chandled things so incredibly well,\u201d noting that her strong relationship with God is what\u2019s gotten her through the storm.<\/p>\n

Viewers will see Mary and the remainder of the solid processing Robert Jr.\u2019s death within the upcoming episodes. While a previous report from The Blast states that cameras weren\u2019t allowed at his funeral service, Barlow said the event was \u201cprobably essentially the most beautiful experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

And Barlow isn\u2019t the one \u201cReal Housewives\u201d star who spoke in regards to the funeral service. \u201cBeverly Hills\u201d staple Kyle Richards also attended the event, per The Blast, and said she showed as much as support Mary in the course of the difficult time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so grateful that I had the chance to be there and support her and experience something like that. Like I said, I’ll always remember that day ever in my life,\u201d Richards said. \u201cI appreciated her having me there because I just, like I said, I used to be so touched by it. I just can\u2019t imagine what she\u2019s going through.\u201d<\/p>\n

One other report from The Blast revealed that other \u201cReal Housewives\u201d stars rallied around Mary during her son\u2019s funeral, including her co-stars, Meredith Marks, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Bronwyn Newport, Angie Katsanevas, and Britani Bateman.<\/p>\n

\u201cReal Housewives of Atlanta\u201d vets Sheree Whitfield and Cynthia Bailey were also in attendance, together with Cohen. <\/p>\n

Speaking of Cohen, the Bravo figurehead showed support for Mary during an episode of \u201cWatch What Happens Live,\u201d saying, \u201cBefore we go, I would like to send all my love and heartfelt condolences to Mary Cosby and her family.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said his \u201cheart\u201d was breaking for Mary after learning of the \u201cdevastatingly sad news.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen touched on Mary\u2019s commitment to supporting her son throughout his addiction struggles, sharing, \u201cMary, you probably did such a terrific job. I do know their bravery and their vulnerability in sharing their story has helped and can proceed to assist countless people who find themselves struggling. Robert Cosby Jr. Told Mary That He Was Struggling With Drug Use During An Emotional Conversation<\/h2>\n

\u201cReal Housewives of Salt Lake City\u201d viewers were aware of Robert Jr.\u2019s addiction struggles, provided that he had an emotional and vulnerable conversation with Mary about his drug use during season 5.<\/p>\n

While in tears, Robert told Mary that he had been using Xanax and other drugs for years. \u201cI just took half to sit back me out, after which I had an Adderall to balance out the Xanax. \u2026 Once I get high, it\u2019s like adding seasoning to [my life],\u201d he confessed.<\/p>\n

Robert Jr. said he noticed things were reaching the purpose of no return when he began feeling unfazed after taking a mixture of medicine. \u201cYou understand the regular 30mg Oxys? I noticed \u2026 this was, like, a turning point for me. I used to be taking 10 directly, and I couldn\u2019t even feel it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
