Joe Amabile<\/strong>, commonly often called \u201cGrocery Store Joe\u201d from \u201cThe Bachelor,\u201d recently shared a concerning health update on his social media account. In a heartfelt video, the 40-year-old reality star revealed that doctors have discovered what they imagine to be an early-stage brain tumor following a Prenuvo full-body scan. Within the video, Amabile expressed that he\u2019s finding it difficult to process the news but is leaning on his family and friends for support during this difficult time.<\/p>\n

Amabile, who also went on to seem in \u201cThe Bachelor in Paradise,\u201d \u201cDancing with the Stars,\u201d and Amazon Prime\u2019s \u201cThe GOAT,\u201d gave his fans a medical update on July 13 and revealed his doctors found a \u201cblueberry-sized lesion\u201d in his brain that appears to be a tumor. Amabile explained that the following step is for him to get brain surgery to get the lesion removed for testing.<\/p>\n

The \u201cBachelor\u201d alum admitted to fighting the news, adding that it caught him by surprise. \u201cI feel it\u2019s one in all those things where you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh, something like this never happened to me,\u2019 and here I’m,\u201d he said. \u201cThey are saying it\u2019s really early stages. I hope they’re able to get all of it, and I\u2019m high quality. But I’ll keep you updated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amabile got much more candid in his Instagram caption, saying that the past month had been difficult for him and his family.<\/p>\n

Despite the sad news, the TV personality said he was counting on those around him to get through it. \u201cI\u2019m doing my best to remain positive during this time and am lucky to have a variety of support from family and friends,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

While he admitted to going forwards and backwards about whether to share the news online, he decided to disclose it to be honest along with his fans. \u201cOnto a brand new journey,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Amabile received support from a handful of other public figures, including Wells Adams, who wrote, \u201cLove you, brother. You bought this, and we\u2019ve got you.\u201d<\/p>\n

His wife, Serena Pitt, added, \u201cYou\u2019re so strong, and we\u2019re going to get through this together. I like you.\u201d<\/p>\n

In accordance with a previous report from The Blast, MTV veteran and \u201cJersey Shore\u201d star Snooki also opened up about her doctor\u2019s concerns after she underwent testing.<\/p>\n

In a January 2026 TikTok, Snooki said that he needed to have an \u201cuncomfortable\u201d procedure done after doctors found \u201ccancerous cells on the highest of my cervix.\u201d<\/p>\n

The mother of three said she was \u201cterrified\u201d to listen to the news since it meant she\u2019d should undergo one other procedure. \u201cIt\u2019s scary, but now we have to get it done because cervical cancer is nothing to joke about,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

As she continued, Snooki admitted that processing the news was difficult for her; nonetheless, her primary reason for sharing was to encourage others to get tested frequently and to remain on top of their health.<\/p>\n

\u201cQuite a lot of women undergo it silently without anyone to refer to and so they\u2019re scared by themselves. And that was me until I made a decision to upload the video about what was happening with me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

And while she was upset by the news, she admitted in a recent interview that she engaged in retail therapy to lift her spirits.<\/p>\n
