Becky Lynch has candidly reflected on a deeply difficult chapter of her life, sharing that her experience with postpartum depression surfaced much later than she ever expected.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on the \u201cJoyful Mum\u201d podcast, the WWE star revealed that she anticipated any postpartum depression would occur soon after welcoming her daughter, Roux. As an alternative, she said she didn\u2019t begin struggling until greater than two years later, after she stopped breastfeeding. She said,<\/p>\n

\u201cThe hardship only got here\u2026 I mean, you recognize, all of the\u2014you don\u2019t sleep as much and blah, blah, blah, and there\u2019s hard little hard things\u2014nevertheless it wasn\u2019t until\u2026 and I had figured I\u2019d probably be inclined to get postpartum depression, but no person had told me that you could get it after you\u2019re done breastfeeding.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYeah. I breastfed for over two years. Really? Yeah. So then when she\u2019s over two after which I weaned her and swiftly, like, I\u2019m so low and I used to be like, \u2018What is going on?\u2019 Like\u2026 I had no idea until any individual had told me. They were like, \u2018Oh yeah, I got it after I weaned my daughter off.\u2019 After which she became just such a source of support for me that I didn\u2019t realize that that might occur. It was just type of a low mood? Uh, yeah, but like very low. And like I remember describing it as like I couldn\u2019t see colours. Like every part just felt gray and dull and I had no hope. I didn\u2019t need to get away from bed within the morning. I didn\u2019t need to exist. Like I used to be just so low. And like anything that went unsuitable went super unsuitable.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYeah\u2026 like I didn\u2019t feel worthy of my husband, like all of that stuff. And I suppose not knowing why you felt like that\u2026 it\u2019s really scary. It was scary since it\u2019s in your head. Nobody else can hear those things that you just are saying to yourself, that your mind is telling you.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI feel inside like three or 4 sessions, it\u2019s just like the sun got here out. Like I could see the blue within the sky\u2026 after which I used to be back. But, you recognize, I feel it took about six months. But yeah, just not being aware that it could occur two years after.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
