Khabib Nurmagomedov refused to debate Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway 2 at UFC 329<\/h2>\n

Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor at UFC 229 in 2018 before attacking the Irish star\u2019s corner, sparking a wild brawl.<\/p>\n

Their fight got here after months of controversial trash talk out of McGregor, and the pair have definitely not settled their beef as of 2026.<\/p>\n

That much was evident a century of UFC numbered events later, when \u2018The Notorious\u2019 got here up through the Dagestani\u2019s recent interview with Smol Talk<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n

Speaking ahead of UFC 329, Nurmagomedov refused to reply after being asked if McGregor could still be \u201ccompetitive\u201d contained in the Octagon.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t even need to discuss it,\u201d Nurmagomedov said bluntly.<\/p>\n

On the flip side, the Irishman was joyful to speak about his former opponent during UFC 329 fight week.<\/p>\n

Conor McGregor launched a fresh rant against Khabib Nurmagomedov before UFC 329<\/h2>\n

McGregor tore into Nurmagomedov again days out from his comeback fight, downplaying his achievements in MMA en path to a 29-0 record.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome on, the guy has done nothing in the game,\u201d McGregor said when the pair were brought up together during an interview with Complex<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201c13 fights he\u2019s had in the corporate and three against name opponents, he had a fight with me and I used to be coming off the yacht,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

While he won\u2019t be reacting to it publicly, \u2018The Eagle\u2019 likely enjoyed what unfolded when McGregor shared the cage with Holloway again.<\/p>\n

The fight lasted just 69 seconds after the previous lightweight and featherweight champion injured his knee by throwing a direct flying switch kick.<\/p>\n
