Product listings in AWS Marketplace gained recent AI-based features last month in anticipation of continued growth in the usage of enterprise agents.<\/p>\n

Amazon Web Services Inc. unveiled<\/a> AI-assisted product listings in Product Assistant chat, a feature that helps independent software vendors and consulting partners develop comprehensive product listings for AWS Marketplace using existing digital assets. Using AI will help AWS partners optimize listings and reduce time-consuming manual data entry, in keeping with Matt Yanchyshyn<\/a> (pictured), vice chairman of Marketplace and partner services at AWS.<\/p>\n

\u201cPartners actually need to not only draw eyeballs to their listings on the Marketplace so that they can convert them and make those sales, but they wish to optimize it for search engine optimization,\u201d Yanchyshyn said. \u201cAnd where it\u2019s getting really interesting is that buyers should not just human anymore. Individuals are using agents to do research and we\u2019re getting pretty near a world where agents are beginning to make purchases.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yanchyshyn spoke with theCUBE\u2019s Gemma Allen<\/a> during an interview for the AWS Marketplace Series on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media\u2019s livestreaming studio. They discussed how expanding agentic deployment is reshaping how major corporations are constructing and scaling AI in production. (* Disclosure below.)<\/em><\/p>\n

Rising interest in enterprise agents<\/h3>\n

AWS has been adding recent features<\/a> to the Marketplace in anticipation of a bigger role for AI agents. On the AWS Summit last 12 months, the corporate launched an AI agents and tools category, in keeping with Yanchyshyn.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the time, we thought we were going to have 50 partners, and we ended up having 900 launch partners,\u201d he told theCUBE. \u201cToday, I believe it\u2019s over 3,400. That just speaks to the expansion of that category in under a 12 months.\u201d<\/p>\n

Agentic AI is now the fastest-growing<\/a> category in AWS Marketplace history, Yanchyshyn added. This led him to publish a recent book<\/a> in April, \u201cConstruct Strong Data Foundations for Agentic Analytics and Intelligent Agents,\u201d which brought together data and leaders from corporations comparable to Bank of America and Mercedes-Benz AG to share how they\u2019re constructing and scaling agentic AI in production.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get asked on a regular basis, \u2018Matt, how are you doing it for your personal services like Marketplace?\u2019\u201d Yanchyshyn said. \u201cAnd it was great to listen to these stories from all these big customers about how they\u2019re using AWS with data security and data services typically alongside the AI services to appreciate their outcomes.\u201d<\/p>\n
