Jeff Fenech has watched Tim Tszyu grow up since infancy, and the Australian boxing legend says he has long believed the previous world champion has the potential to eclipse each him and his Hall of Fame father, Kostya Tszyu.<\/p>\n

Working alongside Tszyu for the past eight weeks has only strengthened that belief ahead of his July 26 showdown against former unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve spoken to Tim all his life, since he\u2019s a baby,\u201d Fenech said on FOX Footy and a couple of More. \u201cI\u2019ll just offer you just a little story. When he was three months old, he had teeth. He could eat meat.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve traveled, and I\u2019ve at all times watched him and thought, \u2018Well, this kid goes to be the best Aussie fighter.\u2019 He’ll surpass me and his dad. I\u2019ve at all times thought that, and I still think that he\u2019s going to have the chance to try this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The partnership got here together after the 2 cleared the air following Fenech\u2019s previous public criticism of Tszyu. Since joining the training camp, Fenech said he has been impressed by Tszyu\u2019s work ethic and believes technical adjustments have unlocked one other level.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been in camp with him for just over eight weeks now. It\u2019s been probably the most amazing eight weeks of my life watching this guy give 200 percent day-after-day,\u201d Fenech said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople say that he can\u2019t punch like his dad. It\u2019s just him getting within the positions without delay and doing a couple of things that we\u2019ve modified. They\u2019re all going to get a shock.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Tszyu welcomed Fenech\u2019s influence, saying the Hall of Famer has transformed each his preparation and his outlook.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy life has completely modified with Jeff by my side now, all for the higher,\u201d Tszyu said. \u201cI come back home, and I\u2019m joyful. It\u2019s a vital thing. It\u2019s not only this sport. In life it\u2019s very vital to come back back home and be joyful, and I believe Jeff has been an enormous a part of that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Fenech believes those changes will likely be evident when Tszyu faces Spence, predicting fans will see the very best version of the Australian star yet.<\/p>\n
