Shakur Stevenson believes someone must be held accountable for him being incorrectly named.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was confirmed on July 9 that Zuffa Boxing has signed Stevenson to secure their highest-ranked signing up to now.<\/p>\n

Shakur Stevenson was left confused how anyone could confuse him with Jalen Williams after UFC 329 error<\/h2>\n

Throughout the UFC 329 broadcast, Shakur Stevenson was shown to be in attendance, despite the graphic labelling him as Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jalen Williams.<\/p>\n

Dana White said that his promotion is the \u201cabsolute worst\u201d relating to spotlighting celebrities within the audience after he paid the undefeated boxer a \u201cs\u2014 load of cash.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMan, that was some crazy s\u2014,\u201d Stevenson said on The Ariel Helwani Show<\/a> when sharing his response to seeing this error.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhoever is behind the production, I feel Dana is true, they should be fired and someone must consult with them because I don\u2019t even understand how y\u2019all even get me mixed up with Jalen Williams. We don\u2019t look nothing alike.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite wanting someone to be held accountable, Stevenson said he ultimately wasn\u2019t offended or too bothered by this error.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t care. That s\u2014 don\u2019t do nothing for me. At the top of the day, when I’m going in there on fight night, ain\u2019t no one gonna mistake me for no one.\u201d<\/p>\n

The recently announced fight between Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn has eased any concerns about Steveson\u2019s move to sign with Zuffa Boxing.<\/p>\n

Some feared beforehand that he may not get the largest fights possible and could possibly be forced to drop his WBO title.<\/p>\n

UFC made the same mistake in 2024 with Terence Crawford<\/h2>\n

Dana White was forced to confess an embarrassing mistake that happened in the course of the spectacular UFC 306 show at Sphere in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
