Steve Yzerman, now not the chief vice chairman and GM of the Detroit Red Wings, he\u2019ll be senior advisor to the governor and CEO, Chris Ilitch. Now that the talk is who\u2019s going to take over, and we were joking off air, Helene, that perhaps it\u2019s a Swedish guy because they did it in Toronto. Mats Sundin, up there, and the Sedins (Daneil and Henrik) over in Vancouver. And a team like Detroit, do they keep it in-house, or is it smart to go outside the family to get some fresh perspective on the organization?<\/p>\n

Helene St. James: \u201cWell, their Swedish guy could be very pleased in Sweden, Nicklas Lidstrom, so I don\u2019t think he\u2019s coming over. Shawn Horcoff, one in every of Steve\u2019s assistant general managers, is perhaps form of an obvious selection from the standpoint that he was in command of the AHL team and such.<\/p>\n
