Dana White shuts down Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather 2<\/h2>\n

Conor McGregor\u2018s first fight of any kind resulted in disaster when he got injured at UFC 329 last weekend.<\/p>\n

\u2018Notorious\u2019 injured his knee before losing by TKO just 69 seconds into his rematch with Max Holloway.<\/p>\n

Since then, McGregor has been advised to transition to boxing when he returns from his latest injury layoff. <\/p>\n

Leading MMA journalists Oscar Willis and Brett Okamoto have each predicted McGregor will rematch Floyd Mayweather under Dana White\u2018s Zuffa Boxing banner in 2027.<\/p>\n

The UFC CEO explained why he\u2019s not desirous about seeing McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather 2 during an interview on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere\u2019s my problem with the Mayweather-McGregor fight,\u201d White told Spinnin Backfist MMA Show. <\/p>\n

\u201cTo begin with, the primary one, leading into it, I used to be similar to, \u2018That is crazy.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve seen that fight before. While you talk in regards to the Max [Holloway] fight, Conor won the fight after they first fought. Max won this fight. You’ve got a trilogy there or whatever.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was nothing in regards to the Mayweather fight that makes me say, \u2018You understand, if we did that again, there is perhaps a unique final result.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Dana White desires to work with Floyd Mayweather <\/h2>\n

Dana White is partly chargeable for reigniting the rumors a few Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather rematch.<\/p>\n

The MMA mogul recently offered Mayweather a lifeline amid concerning reports in regards to the former five-weight world champion\u2019s financial situation.<\/p>\n
