Tsarukyan confirms UFC return<\/h2>\n

The 29-year-old\u2019s clash against Covington this Saturday will probably be for the inaugural \u2018crossover\u2019 belt that RAF have introduced for competitors who aren\u2019t full-time wrestlers.<\/p>\n

Having been out of motion within the UFC since November, Tsarukyan confirmed during an interview with MMAFighting<\/a> that he’s hopeful of competing two times within the UFC this yr.<\/p>\n

This past weekend fellow lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett pulled off a giant win when he submitted Benoit Saint-Denis in the primary round of their UFC 329 clash.<\/p>\n

Following his win, Pimblett claimed that the Armenian must take off his singlet and just take a fight within the UFC. And now, Tsarukyan has confirmed that his UFC return is confirmed.<\/p>\n

Although \u2018Ahalkalakets\u2019 hasn\u2019t confirmed who he will probably be fighting next, Justin Gaethje\u2019s manager dropped an enormous hint regarding \u2018The Highlight\u2019s\u2019 first title defense recently.<\/p>\n

Ali Abdelaziz stated that Gaethje will probably be fighting someone he has never fought, ruling out rematches with Pimblett, Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira, potentially only leaving Tsarukyan.<\/p>\n
