That\u2019s what former attorney and now discontented housewife Debbie (Octavia Spencer<\/strong>) asks herself when her BFF for a long time, Judith (Hannah Waddingham<\/strong>), reveals a secret she\u2019s been hiding from her for years \u2013 she\u2019s really an elite assassin! With Debbie\u2019s life in jeopardy, Judith has no selection but to guard her friend the one way she knows how \u2013 by killing plenty of individuals with knives, guns and even her bare hands.<\/p>\n It feels like a setup for an entertaining action-comedy film, but Ride or Die<\/em> is an eight-episode series, with each episode clocking in at around 50 minutes. That\u2019s the show\u2019s primary weakness \u2013 this story is basically higher served in a tightly placed, 100-minute movie. Nevertheless it\u2019s still price streaming for its two charismatic stars, who’re given ample opportunities to showcase their skills in comedy, drama and punching guys within the face. Spencer and Waddingham are clearly having fun playing their complicated characters, and also you\u2019ll have a good time watching them.<\/p>\n Luciana \u201cLucky\u201d Armstrong (Anya Taylor-Joy<\/strong>) normally lives as much as her name \u2013 she\u2019s been lucky conning people out of cash.
